April 27th 2014 Race Day  (REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN)

Located in Chantilly, VA, the Westfields Sprint Triathlon is a great way to start off the season!  The event features a short pool swim (250m) at the Cub Run RECenter followed by a flat bike ride (12 miles) and a scenic run (3.1 miles) along the paved paths behind Westfield High School and Cub Run RECenter.  For the experienced triathlete, this is a great way to see how your training is progressing and get yourself in race-ready shape. If you are a novice and looking to check out the sport, this is a great event to start.  All athletes receive our signature technical T-shirts and finisher medals.  With a 7AM start you'll be able to drive in the morning of the event and then stick around for all the post-race activities.

This race benefits three great organizations making a difference in the fight against cancer:

Special Love is a nonprofit organization that provides cancer families a network of support, made up of other patients and families who know and understand the trials and triumphs of the cancer experience.

Kyle’s Kamp raises money for pediatric cancer care and research through the Children's National Medical Center.

Team Fight is an awareness and fundraising program that gets people active in the fight against cancer. Team Fight members mobilize, train and support people of all abilities to make an impact in the young adult cancer fight. Members participate in walks, runs, triathlons and other sport events to further the mission of the Ulman Cancer Fund.
